Sketches Inspired by the film Sakaling Hindi Makarating

This 2016 directorial debut of Ice Idanan boasts of seven awards from the 2nd CineFilipino Film Festival. Thanks to the Cinematheque Centre Manila, I was able to finally watch it.

Sakaling Hindi Makarating

What’s on the Menu?

I love food. Despite being a bit picky (no onions and radish, please!), I enjoy exploring a variety of flavors and cooking styles. In the last quarter of 2017, I painted these in watercolor:

My Magical Archer

I have been playing the game Dragon Nest (South East Asia (SEA) server) for around half a decade. Recently they posted an event wherein the players are encouraged to draw their character and they will be given a special ingame item. However, I got the competitive vibes and tried to make the best artwork that I possibly can. Do everything in the best way you can, right?  Continue reading “My Magical Archer”

2016 has been full of travel and new experiences. I have always wanted to document my travels and activities through art. Last year, I tried, in as much as I can, to make it possible.

Every dawn from the 16th of December to the morning before Christmas, families, friends, individuals flock to churches for the Simbang Gabi.

The Simbang Gabi is a 9-day novena observed by the Roman Catholics and Aglipayans in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The novena ends with the Misa de Gallo on Christmas eve to welcome the birth of the Christ.

Some Protestant churches also hold evening services during those dates to celebrate Christmas.
